Job Details

Debug and fix simple bugs.

 

Build new code with technical and architectural guidance.

 

Good understanding of .net and C#

 

Understanding of SOLID principles and software design patterns such as Dependency Injection

 

Write reliable unit tests either in TDD or post-implementation to 80% of code coverage

 

Review all code against coding standards and provide constructive feedback

 

Collaborate effectively with testers and DevOps

 

Diagnose Third Line support enquiries related to product areas you have worked on.

 

Attempt to understand and resolve the root cause of support issues to prevent reoccurrence

 

Understand that we work as a team and the team succeeds or fails together

 

Contribute to sprint refinement, risk analysis, planning, review and retro meetings and development task estimations

 

Understand the need for efficiency in code and can avoid writing inefficient code

 

Understand common security vulnerabilities and avoid introducing them in code

 

Applies a methodical approach to routine and moderately complex issue definition and resolution.

 

Performs a range of work, sometimes complex and non-routine, in a variety of environments.

 

Applies creative thinking or finds new ways to complete tasks.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or a related field) or training in the technologies listed in the minimum skills

 

Normally requires a minimum of 1-3 years of successful and progressively responsible experience

 

Experience working in Microsoft .NET / C#

 

Utilizes Microsoft Visual Studio

 

Experience with Databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, MySQL, Azure COSMOS

 

Good problem-solving skills

 

SOLID principles

 

Design Patterns

 

Dependency Injection

 

Unit Testing, Integration Testing using NUnit/xUnit

 

Understanding of REST web services

 

Web UI development (including JQuery, React/Angular)

 

Azure (or other cloud) PaaS services (functions, storage, key vault, etc)

 

Azure CI/CD pipelines and Quality Gates.

 

Containerisation (Docker Linux/Windows based)

 

Experience working with any reporting tool.

 

Experience in working with Agile SCRUM development methodology

 

A passion for technology and developing your own technical skills.

 

Accountable for completing all the assigned trainings before the due date.
