Junior Full Stack Developer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Build real features across our frontend, mobile app, and backend
• Work with React/React Native, Python/FastAPI, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL
• Develop APIs and database queries
• Fix real production issues reported by teachers and users
• Write tests and participate in code reviews
• Learn how systems serving millions of users are deployed, monitored, and scaled
• Work closely with senior engineers and the CTO
• Gradually take ownership of complete features

What We’re Looking For

• Strong programming fundamentals
• Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and React
• Basic knowledge of Python and backend/API development
• Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases
• Understanding of Git fundamentals
• Ability to read, understand, and debug existing code
• Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly

Good to Have

• React Native or Android development
• REST APIs
• Redis or asynchronous processing
• Docker
• Experience deploying your own projects
• Interest in education or public-impact technology
